So Victor is committing bigamy? There is no way he could have gotten a divorce that fast.

I'm going be sad tommorow as Nicole leaves. I acknowledge the character needs a rest but I wish she was getting a better exit and I will miss Nicole.

I'll miss Nicole and I never thought I'd say that. But other than S/K, Eric and Nicole are the only couple I've enjoyed lately.

I really wish this Bonnie / Victor storyline has been plotted better. The actors are, usually, good. It happening makes some sense. But like, Bonnie taking over Adrienne's life has missed about 15 million beats. Anjelica hires her and Hattie, or whatever it is. Great. Cool. Adrienne's in prison. Okay. I have never understood having Bonnie air and not Adrienne on the same day, and yes I'm aware there's only so much Adrienne one could show without little to not plot movement, but if Reilly could have repetitive near misses for months, Calvarti could do it. The concept of Adrienne is clearly boring to him when he can just play with Bonnie. But like...establish that it is or isn't known that Bonnie and Adrienne have a similar look. Have people remember Bonnie. It hasn't been that long. And if they remember Hattie, who was last seen before these most recent stints when Bonnie was in town, like, come on. At least those who would have seen her. Obviously no one should expect that Adrienne has a doppelganger perhaps right away. But when Hattie was caught, there were some who saw them being very close. Marlena should have gone to "Adrienne" and wonder about that. Justin not going there makes sense. He never met her. But if it soon became unravelled that this random woman named Bonnie was kind of reminiscent of Adrienne. I like Bonnie catching Victor on the Xander / Deimos plot. Play the camp, fine. But they could have played out the beats. Have her get good dirt on Victor. Have her threaten Maggie with it. Adrienne hated Victor, so she could have played that up to try and get money from him. And as people get close to the truth, she pulls the divorce / marriage bit. Everyone's in on it. Maggie is angry at Victor for going back to is old roots, but doesn't want him going to prison. Justin wants to know where Adrienne is, but Bonnie won't tell him. I feel like some good stuff could have come from this. I think some fun things have come of it, but I feel like it was a misused opportunity.

Ron did the impossible and made me like Nicole again. During the Dicole, grieving Dan, Deimos, and Canada storylines, I could barely tolerate Nicole, Ron fixed that. While Nicole never regained her edge, she was less of a shrew. Also, I got some great Ericole scenes. I'll miss Nicole.

I'm thrilled that Nicole's last day is finally here. And that is something I NEVER thought I'd say.

It honestly ruined my day when the news broke that AZ was leaving. Especially since it had just been announced that Ron Carlivati was taking over head writing duties. I "knew" Ron would give us back the old Nicole we all loved to hate! Sadly, that ended up not being true. We still got the pathetic, weak, crying victim that Nicole has become over the years. The Eric/Nicole/Brady triangle hasn't been doing it for me either, aside from a few good individual scenes.

I'm honestly glad that she'll no longer be on my screen.

I read at one point she's going to run into Sami before she leaves. I was hoping this would be more than a quick scene.

I hope this episode is decent. The rest of the week has been a mix of mostly boring, weird, and stupid. I was really hoping that the wedding and/or search for Will stuff would be the story that would really turn the show into high gear, but so far it's been a big disappointment. It feels...half-baked or something, which is weird since they've had plenty of time to flesh stuff out in all of the filler episodes.

Ron has got to give me a better reason to start watching again than anything I have read from this week. I'm not missing anything of real importance. That's obvious.

Eve might do the trick along with Jack as more than a ghost, that we have been lead to believe will be all that we see of him

Sheila is in the credits and hasn't been seen yet this week, so she's a good bet.

I'm really gonna miss Nicole!! Hopefully after a shorter break, she will come back pregnant with Eric's baby and they can be reunited! While this isn't the way I would've chosen her exit story, I appreciate Ron repairing a lot of damage done to her from previous writers!

It's the budget.

The wedding episodes were good because they spent a little extra money and took the time to make sure everything looked right and played well. They can't afford to do that for more than a handful of episodes throughout the year and it really affects the stories. Most of this stuff reads well on paper but when you see it on screen -- the tiny, generic, repurposed sets; the boring, safe camera work; the shitty background music; the one-take scenes that really should've been re-shot; the lack of extras in scenes that need extras for a sense of energy and realism. Add it all together and everything comes across as cheap, no energy, lethargic, Dollar Store thrown-together-in-a-second soap opera.

That picture in the top row with Jensen's hand on Bryan's face has always made me lol.

Today's show should be ok since it's the beginning of Bonnie getting busted. I wanted to see the reaction of everyone when they realize what is really going on.
